Vicki Lockwood
SHE / HER
Vicki has been a CPA, CGA for over 30 years, successfully owning and operating her own accounting firm in Canmore, Alberta for 25 years. Vicki is passionate about navigating her clients through the intricacies of government and banking requirements for businesses and individuals.
Vicki has extensive experience with not-for-profits, including a current controller position at Bow Valley Regional Housing. She also previously held controller positions at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club and the Alpine Club of Canada.
Additionally, Vicki has immense experience in providing accounting services to small and large businesses from restaurants to construction companies. She has successfully assisted businesses with job costing, budgeting, and bookkeeping setup to achieve industry-specific reporting and analysis. Her problem solving in the areas of accounting and taxation can assist businesses to set up, organize and file tax returns for prior and current years.
Vicki can provide accounting advice through direct consultation with businesses. If you are looking to incorporate your business or seeking other advice and guidance with your financials, Vicki has the knowledge and experience to help.
Outside of accounting, Vicki is a passionate creative writer. She is a natural community-builder within her writing circle and in her other areas of interest including curling and golf. She lives in Canmore, Alberta with her husband, Darryl, and her cat, Prim.

April Lockwood

April has been a bookkeeper and accountant for over 6 years working with small businesses, not-for-profits, and co-operative associations.
April’s work has focused on connecting with clients and setting up unique systems that work best for them. They are especially passionate about co-operative and not-for-profit accounting as she values straightforward and clear financial reporting as a way to keep organizations accountable to those they serve.
April has the special ability to recognize patterns and solve complex problems, whether with bookkeeping numbers or with client needs. April’s priority in all of their projects is seeing the human aspect of accounting. They understand that their clients are people first and foremost, which requires an empathetic approach. Running a business is hard and April can help support you through it.
Outside of accounting and bookkeeping, April is a mixed-media artist. She lives in Victoria, BC with her partner, Emma, and their black cat, Juniper.
